Oncologist, MD, MSc, MRCP
Dr. Flora Stavridi was born in Athens in 1976 and graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2000. She specialized in Medical Oncology in the United Kingdom, working for a decade in top-tier oncology centers.
Her areas of expertise include breast cancer, gynecological and urogenital cancers, and palliative care. From 2007 to 2009, she was a Lecturer at Guys and St. Thomas’ University Hospital Medical School in London, while also serving as Senior Registrar at The Royal Marsden and Guys and St. Thomas’ Hospitals.
She returned to Greece in 2009 to work at Sotiria Hospital and joined HYGEIA Hospital in September 2010. Driven by a multifaceted interest in oncology and healthcare management, she completed two postgraduate degrees:
- In 2011, a Master’s in Health Unit Administration from the Hellenic Open University, with a focus on clinical leadership, communication skills, and best clinical practices.
- The same year, she completed a postgraduate program in Medical Oncology at the Institute of Cancer Research, London.
Dr. Stavridi currently serves as the Director of the 4th Oncology Clinic at the HYGEIA Group. She is an active lecturer, regularly participates in international conferences, and contributes to peer-reviewed scientific publications.
She is fluent in English and French and a member of:
